Statistics: Turnover Rate
Purpose:
This module allows the HR department to monitor employee turnover, hiring trends, probation success, and overall team stability. It helps detect critical issues, analyze retention effectiveness, and support data-driven decisions for talent management.
Filters:

- Options: Day, Month, Quarter, Year
Purpose:
Defines the granularity of data aggregation across the dashboard.
- Use Day to analyze short-term peaks or patterns
- Use Month, Quarter, or Year for long-term dynamics and trend analysis
- From - To (Period selection)
Type: Monthly selection
Purpose:
Selects the reporting period. Only month-level inputs are accepted. All statistics are calculated and displayed within the selected range.
- Department
Type: Dropdown
Default: All Departments
Purpose:
Filters the results by department, allowing HR to assess turnover metrics and dynamics for specific teams or units.
- Contract
Type: Dropdown
Options:
- All
- Staff – Internal, full-time employees
- Outsource – External contractors or outstaffed personnel
Purpose:
Allows segmenting workforce data by employment type to analyze differences in retention and turnover.
- Show Empty (Checkbox)
Purpose:
When enabled, displays empty time slots (days, months, etc.) where no hires or terminations occurred.
Use case:
- Ensures continuity on graphs and time series
- Helps visualize inactivity periods for better pattern recognition
Displayed Metrics:
- Total worked - Total number of unique employees who were active at any time during the selected period.
- Working now - The number of currently active employees as of the latest data point.
- Trial period success - Indicates how many new hires passed their probation period and stayed in the company.
Formula:
(Successful probations / Total completed probations) × 100%
- Fired during the period - Number of employees who left or were terminated during the selected time frame.
- Hired during the period - Number of employees hired during the selected time frame.
- Turnover Rate - Core HR metric showing the percentage of staff who left the company. High turnover may indicate management or retention issues.

Monthly distribution of terminations.
Hired during the period
Shows:
Monthly distribution of new hires. Used for correlation with exits.
Average Employment Duration
Shows:
The average number of days employees stayed per department. Helps identify departments with long-term retention or high early exits.
Probation Success Table:
Split into:
- Success – users who completed probation and remained employed
- Failed – users who left during or immediately after probation
Columns:
- User ID, Name, Email, Department
- Start Date, Probation End Date, Work End Date
Use case:
Track hiring quality and onboarding effectiveness by department.
